Installation Principles | DAMPA 10/100/200/300
DAMPA 10/100/200/300 ceiling units can all be installed in any combination on the same modular carrier.
Minimal hanger positions are required due to the well-proven rigid and easily adjustable suspension principle, identical to the fire rated DAMPA DCC 300/200 Ceiling System.
The ceiling system will support standard integrated items. If luminaires, air diffusers or integrated fittings are incorporated into the ceiling, it may be necessary to provide additional hangers to accommodate the extra weight.
The Basic Principle | DAMPA 10/100/200/300
The Basic Principle uses Edge Trim No. 13 at all perimeters or a combination of Edge Trim type 1 parallel and Edge Trim type 2 perpendicular to the panel direction.
Suspension hangers and Modular Carrier No. 40 provide the ceiling support.
Reduction in Hangers | DAMPA 10/100/200/300
Reduction in hangers can be achieved by providing alternative support at panel ends.
This can be obtained by using Angle Runner No. 1 perpendicular and Angle Runner No. 2 parallel to the panel direction. The maximum distance from wall to first carrier can be increased from 300 mm to 1200 mm.
Ceiling without Hangers | DAMPA 10/100/200/300
Ceilings without hangers are useful for corridors and possible in all areas with widths less than 1250 mm.
By using Angle Runner No. 1 panels are fastened to the walls.
Curved Ceilings | DAMPA 10/100/200/300
DAMPA 10 ceiling units can be installed as concave or convex curved surfaces down to a minimum radius of 500 mm using Modular Carrier No. 44.

The carrier is fastened at 300 mm centres to a pre-shaped hard core or metal structure spaced at 1200 mm centres maximum.
Curved surfaces of DAMPA 10/100/200/ 300 ceiling units to a radius of 20 m or more, corresponding to an arch of 100 mm over a span of 4 m, may be formed with standard Modular Carrier No. 40 suspended from standard hangers.
Installation & Dismantling of Dampa 10/100/200/300 Panels
DAMPA 10/100/200/300
DAMPA 10/100/200/300 ceiling units are normally installed progressively, starting at either end of the room.
It is possible to remove and reinstateindividual ceiling units without the use of tools.
To remove, pull the unit towards you horizontally and simultaneously push the nearest adjacent one.
