Installation Principles | DAMPA TILES
DAMPA Clip-in tiles are installed into a concealed suspension system.
Air injection can be obtained using the Rainfall Ventilation principle.
Bevelled and Square Edge Tiles cannot be mixed together.
Basic Principles | DAMPA TILES
The Clip-in Tiles are supported by DAMPA’s well-proven primary grid suspension system.
The suspension system consists of primary and secondary carriers supported by DAMPA’s rigid and easily adjustable hanger principle. The system ensures the minimum use of hangers and provides easy alignment of the carriers and a greater overall flexibility during installation.
Rainfall Ventilation | DAMPA TILES
For rainfall ventilation purpose, tiles with bevelled or square edges can by use of Carrier No. 10 be installed with a slot of variable size on all four sides.
Installation & Dismantling of DAMPA Tiles | DAMPA TILES
Tiles are secured to the carrier by applying an upward pressure using the palm of the hand at all four corners.
It is possible to remove and reinstate individual tiles anywhere in the ceiling.
To remove a single tile, insert the dismantling tool up into the tile joint close to any of the four corners and pull down gently.
